Reviewing holidays with IGCSE students

We are now reviewing for the IGCSE speaking examination in less than two weeks time! As I mentioned in an earlier post, I created different boards on Audioboo related to the different topics my students will be asked about. I posted samples of questions and answers which my students recorded in groups so that they can review at home or in the bus or wherever and whenever they want!

Talk about a picture in Spanish

A picture can be a great start for a conversation when it is hard to get students talking in the target language. In my present school, we prepare grade 9 and 10 for the IGCSE exams and one part of the exam is about students having to converse with the teachers about different topics they have previously learned.

Street view to broaden horizons

I am hooked on Google+ at the moment and yesterday I read this short post from Yonatan Zunge r: "This game is remarkably fun: You get five random images from Street View, and you have to try to figure out where in the world you are.
